Summary
Situation
Many students struggle with career navigation due to a lack of direct support from professionals and educators. Existing job-searching apps focus on listings and messaging but leave students to figure out career paths on their own.
Task
Bridge provides a space where professionals showcase their experience, educators connect students to relevant mentors, and students explore careers with structured support. The platform curates professional connections tailored to students’ interests.
The goal is to create a platform that bridges the gap between students, educators, and professionals, making career exploration more accessible and guided.
Action
This approach fosters meaningful career exploration, reducing the uncertainty students face when navigating job opportunities alone.
Result
How might we better organize events that include more diverse options for students to choose from?
How might we better try to understand the wants and needs of students looking for what they want to do in the future?
How
Might
We?
How might we expand the lines of communication to a wider range of job specialists to come and talk to these students about their jobs?
